I love to bake. It's an artwork you can eat and it uses all of the senses. Happiness is to feel elastic dough, smell spices, hear the woosh of the burners in the oven and see a sparkly golden sugar crust. I'm staring to develop loads of fandom inspired recipes, so be sure to check those out. You can find non-fandom baked goods and other food under tags. I've also published banana bread cookbook. Welcome to my kitchen! (The fantastic Cabin Pressure graphics were created by JohnFinnemoresSouvenirProgramme.) **Know that there are some social issues that are so important that I will reblog a few posts here. If you'd like to block those and only see the food my tag is "an important break from food blogging" Anddd there are a few posts that are just too funny (not alway food related), I'll tag them with "sorry not food blogging this is just for fun"- but those are rare. Mostly food here!

Supernatural Inspired Recipes: TFW Chocolate Pie Dessert
Dark Chocolate Custard Pie (Dean)
Moose Tracks Ice Cream (Sam)
Topped with local honey (Castiel)
———————————————-
Dark Chocolate Custard Pie
Preheat oven to 350F
6 eggs
1 cup sugar (evaporated cane juice, or any granulated sugar)
1/2 cup dark chocolate coca powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups almond milk
Mix well and pour into an unbaked pie shell, OR a pre-made cookie crust. I used an Oreo Cookie Crust.
Bake for 1 hour at 350F.
You will probably have some extra pie filling. I poured it into some ramekins and baked them next to the main pie. They didn’t need to be taken out any earlier. Be sure to check doneness with a knife. Pierce the center of the pie, if the knife comes out clean, the pie is done.
